A gentler, cheaper alternative to gorilla trekking: 2–4 hours of easy-to-moderate hiking through bamboo forest to a troop of endangered golden monkeys, with an hour spent watching them play. Permits book up less far in advance than gorilla permits. Minimum age 12.
