About

A day spent trekking to a habituated mountain gorilla family in the Virunga foothills, with an armed ranger and tracking guide and a full hour observing the gorillas once found. Permits are issued by the Rwanda Development Board and must be booked well ahead — availability is limited to 8 trekkers per gorilla family per day.
