Nyungwe Top View Hill Hotel has operated since February 2011 on a hilltop near Nyungwe Forest National Park. The property consists of a large circular main building housing reception, dining and bar areas, plus 12 red-brick cottages (four twin, eight double) arranged in sunrise- and sunset-facing rows, each with a lounge, fireplace and private balcony overlooking the forest, tea plantations and, on clear days, Lake Kivu and the Virunga volcanoes.
